The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a stunning piece of technology in the ever more competitive world of mobile devices and Smartphones. It boasts a very special and very crisp 5.7-inch Super AMOLED color screen, which makes it arguably one of the most advanced devices on the market.
As well as the stunning display, the Galaxy Note 3 also has some very impressive under-the-hood action going on. The LTE version uses a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chip, while the international GSM-only model uses an octa-core Exynos 5420, with four 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 cores.
There are 32 or 64 GB options available memory-wise and it might be a supersized phone compared to many on the market, but if that doesn’t bother you and you have some cash in your pocket, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a great option if you are looking to upgrade your Smartphone.
There is no question that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is aimed at people who want their Smartphone with a big-screen, and even though $299 may be steep, comparatively, you get a whole lot of cutting-edge technology for under 300 bucks (subject to minimum contract.)
Another very handy bonus is the S Pen which tucks nicely into the bottom of the phone. Some people love them while others wouldn’t even consider using one, but it’s there if you want it. Probably the most useful function is the Action Memo feature, which enables the phone to read a handwritten word as though it were typed.
That feature makes writing text messages and emails that much more convenient, providing your handwriting is legible. Other slight issues are the fact that the speaker quality on the Note 3 is not great, and the interface layout is a little restrictive for some things.
