We’ve been seeing a whole lot of Battlefield 3 footage on the PC recently, but EA and DICE have been keeping console footage to themselves — until now, that is.
EA DICE stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to show off our very first look at Battlefield 3 on consoles — PlayStation 3, to be specific. The demonstration shows off a segment we’ve already seen in the Faultline video series, so you can expect eagle-eyed frame counters to be scrutinizing every little frame and comparing the two over the next few weeks.
To my untrained eye, the console version actually looks quite nice and, for the most part, similar to the PC footage we’ve seen. With that being said, I’ll be picking this up on the PC if I can help it (if my PC can handle it, in other words).
