The Golden Globes 2014 had their own drama on Sunday morning ahead of the festivities at the much anticipated awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
A section of the red carpet, where video cameras are stationed was flooded due to a burst pipe.
According to reports from USA Today journalists attending the 2014 Golden Globes ceremony, the section of red carpet was hit with about 5,000 gallons of sewage water that came rushing to the surface.
The report indicates that a large light used in video production was placed too close to a heat sensor, which caused the sprinkler system to trip.
Organizers were working frantically to fix the problem ahead of the celebrity arrivals.
The Beverly Hills Fire Department and management for the Beverly Hill Hilton Hotel, were working to clear the water and the soaked carpet was being cut in pieces and replaced as needed.
