Duck Commander, the business owned by the Duck Dynasty family on the A&E network hit show, is launching its own line of guns based upon the series. Mossberg, a popular weapons manufacturing company, is teaming up with the family to produce two semi-automatic handguns, nine shotguns, and two semi-automatic rifles.

Mossberg company representative Linda Powell stated that the Duck Commander guns have already been shipped to firearms retailers. The Duck Dynasty shotguns, rifles, and pistols will reportedly range in price from $400 to $900 each.

Most of the Duck Commander gun line will boast a camouflaged waterfowl pattern, but not all of the guns are designed for duck hunting purposes. The Mossberg.22 pistol was designed specifically for “plinking, target shooting, small game hunting – or to clear cottonmouths out of your duck blinds,” according to an advertisement for the firearm.

The Mossberg International 715T Duck Commander.22 long rifle boasts an adjustable stock and 25 round capacity. The camo rifle also has a picatinny quad-rail forearm, A-2 style muzzlebrake, an AR flat top with removable A2 style adjusting sights, and a free gun lock.

Mossberg CEO Iver Mossberg had this to say about the Duck Dynasty guns:

“Mossberg is extremely proud to partner with Duck Commander to further promote hunting, shooting sports and family values. The Robertsons’ widespread appeal and ability to cross over into the mainstream has bridged millions to the tradition of hunting and sharing time in the field with family.”

Willie Robertson, the Duck Commander CEO, stated that the franchise was built upon “our great American heritage, family values, and hard work.” The Mossberg company build firearms in the United States and is also family owned, two points which prompted Willie to note why the two companies will make great partners.

The gun company is marketing the new Duck Commander camo guns with a video that feature various members of the Robertson family. In one of the ads, Phil Robertson is showcased saying:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident. That all men are created equal and that they’ve been endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. Those are rights that no government can take from you. To live, be free and pursue happiness. Do you know what makes me happy, ladies and gentlemen? To blow a mallard drake’s head smooth off.”

Every Duck Commander gun purchase comes complete with an American flag bandana designed to look just like the one Willie Robertson wears on the Duck Dynast y television show.
