A new Call of Duty: Ghosts TV spot stars Megan Fox and a real dog. Yes, this time Infinity Ward is using live actors (and an actress) to advertise their game.
Taking a step away from the aliens of its four-player co-op Extinction Mode , Call of Duty: Ghosts once again focuses on the core gameplay that made Call of Duty a hit. The new commercial titled “Epic Night Out” features four guys heading to and through Las Vegas. Of course this isn’t the Las Vegas most people think about; this is a broken down and abandoned version which has seen its share of bullets and bombshells.
With Frank Sinatra playing in the background in almost complete irony, the four guys make their way into the ruins of a half destroyed casino, shooting down whatever comes their way. Halfway into it, we get a cameo of Megan Fox in soldier garb, who shoots things down in her own way. She shoots down a soldier’s advances, and then kills what looks like a flying probe right behind him in what could be a reference to her role in Michael Bay’s Transformers films.
The four guys in the Call of Duty: Ghosts TV spot seem to be having the time of their lives in the desert, and then it switches to a firefight in outer space. One of them flings a clip to his buddy, who catches it and loads it into his gun, then proceeding to shoot down enemy astronauts.
The next part of the commercial has them rolling again, this time in a jeep, cruising along and just loving every minute of it as they chase another troop in a separate jeep.
Several clips roll by of various scenarios with each of them living out a war time fantasy, one of which has a guy with a rocket launcher taking out a closing helicopter.
The Call of Duty: Ghosts TV spot makes war look like fun, but what do you think?
