Kim Kardashian Engaged To Kanye West

Kim Kardashian is officially engaged to Kanye West, according to several media reports on Tuesday morning. Kanye apparently popped the question at San Francisco’s AT&T Park, which he rented out for the proposal.

E! Online first reported the news about Kimye, then followed up later with details of the proposal , complete with a photo from Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner.

Like a true gentleman, Kanye asked Kris Jenner for her daughter’s hand in marriage. Considering her recent praise for her soon-to-be son-in-law, we’re not surprised she agreed.

With the matriarch’s approval, Kanye got down on one knee ans proposed to Kim Kardashian, complete with a flawless 15-carat diamond ring handcrafted by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

And, considering Kimye can’t do anything without being extravagant (renting out AT&T Park wasn’t enough), Kanye West’s proposal included a 50-piece orchestra, which played Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful,” followed by Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, and Kanye’s “Knock You Down.” The sign “PLEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” also flashed on the jumbotron.

Kim and Kanye went public with their relationship last year and have a four-month-old daughter, North West. PEOPLE notes that Kim’s marriage to Kanye will be her third . She first married music producer Damon Thomas, but the pair divorced in 2004. Most famously, Kardashian married basketball star Kris Humphries in 2011, but filed for divorce after 72 days.

While her previous two marriages didn’t end well, it’s possible that the third time is the charm for Kim, who agreed to Kanye’s wild proposal, which also included fireworks and Roman candles.

To top it off, Kim’s friends and family poured from one of the dugouts after she accepted her boyfriend’s proposal. While little North West is in San Francisco with her parents, she wasn’t present for her parents’ engagement.

While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are engaged, there aren’t any pictures of the sparkly ring — yet.
