Big Brother 16 and Survivor 32 Kaoh Rong alum Caleb Reynolds shared that on April 30, he will marry his fiancée, Ashley Jay. The couple has been together for 18 months and shared the love of fitness and the outdoors. A forum on Yuku called Survivor Sucks reported that Reynolds will return to Survivor for the 34th season in about six months.
Caleb shared on his Facebook page that he and Ashley are getting married on April 30, but he asked for his fans to donate items for the ceremony. The reality TV star requested a wedding cake, round tables, and anything else that his followers wanted to give to him. Many people were supportive of his announcement while others couldn’t wait to slam him for asking for donations for the big day. Many fans felt that if he couldn’t afford a wedding cake, he shouldn’t tie the knot with Ashley just yet.

The same day, Caleb posted a video showing his followers his first home with Ashley. The house is over 2,000 square feet and is in a prime location on a golf course. Apparently, Caleb doesn’t need to ask for donations because his new home is flawless. As he stated in the above Facebook post, he is a “simple man’ that won’t buy things unless he really needs too. He referred to the home as his starter home and expected to outgrow it in a few years.
Caleb first appeared on Big Brother in the summer of 2014 and quickly became a fan favorite. He showed his sense of humor and often his quirky side, aligning with Frankie Grande in the house. Ever since leaving Big Brother 16 , fans have hoped he’d get a chance to come back and compete for a Big Brother All Stars season. So far, CBS has not announced an All Stars season, at least not yet. If it were an All Stars Season, one could expect to hear any announcement by late May to early June.
Reynolds has not revealed any other details about his wedding other than the date, asking for donations for the ceremony, and sharing they are registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond in case someone wanted to buy them a gift. If one had to guess about the type of ceremony “Beast Mode Cowboy” will have, you’d assume it would have an outdoors theme.
IBT reported that Reynolds could already have a deal to go back to Survivor for season 34–which should start filming within six months or so. Apparently, the information came directly from a Survivor Sucks forum that learned that season 33 would have new cast members with season 34 being returning players vs. new cast. It isn’t clear if the returned players will be voted in or asked to compete by the show. At this point, his returning status is based on a rumor; however, the Survivor Sucks forum is typically pretty accurate.
Caleb was the favorite to win this season of Survivor until he was medically evacuated after suffering a heat stroke. During a challenge, he collapsed after giving the competition his all and was deemed unfit to continue by the medical team. They evacuated Reynolds from the game and admitted him to the hospital where he spent five days in ICU after his body temperature raised to over 107 degrees. It was a very scary ordeal for the reality TV star; however, he has since promised his fans that he is ready to return to their TV screen soon.
The Inquisitr would like to wish Caleb Reynolds and Ashley Jay congratulations on the impending nuptials in April. Survivor fans, tell us in the comments section below if you’d like to see Reynolds return in season 34?
