Katy Perry is known as a musically diverse artist. And as outspoken as she can seem through her lyrics, sometimes she can say things that surely show her humbled personality — like her pre-halftime-show tweet.
On February 1, 2015, around 12:25 p.m. local time, Katy Perry paid respects to a little girl via her Twitter account . In the tweet, she states that the girl once had a dream but that it is now a reality — in so many words. Well, it turns out that the girl in the photo is actually a young Katy Perry.
Today is for this girl. She had the dream, always believed in herself & her worth. Today she is the one smiling. pic.twitter.com/9jMh3hWubz

This was definitely a milestone before Katy Perry’s tour begins in April. Historically speaking, once an artist performs at a Super Bowl, it’s for that one time — unless the artist guest-appears with another artist in later years. Nevertheless, Katy Petty did not let her fans down. Their feedback says that she certainly satisfied and gave an outstanding performance.
Katy Perry’s song list included, in no certain order: “Firework,” “Dark Horse,” “Roar,” “Teenage Dream,” “I Kissed A Girl,” and “California Girls.” She also performed “Get Your Freak On” with Missy Elliott.
Katy Perry, via Twitter, seems to be creating quite the stir with hashtags: #HalfTimeShowKatyPerry and # KatyPerry . Several believe that this was the greatest Super Bowl performance they’ve ever seen.

Then there are also those who preferred to share their comedic feedbacks. People did find them hilarious and familiar.

Even if there are those who did not like Katy Perry’s performance, it is definitely one they won’t forget. And neither will she forget it. This was a milestone, not only in Perry’s career but, in her life. Ever since she was a little, she’s dreamed big. And for Super Bowl XLIX, her dream became reality.
What do you think? Was it the best Super Bowl performance you’ve seen? Better than the 2014 Bruno Mars performance?
