‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Teaser Trailer Details Revealed?

It has been only a few weeks since Star Wars: The Force Awakens ended production in London and we still don’t have too many details about what will be included in the much-talked-about teaser trailer. We also don’t know when the much-awaited clip will be coming out.

There were rumors that the first look at the new trilogy would come attached to The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies , which will be released in the U.S. in exactly a month from the time this article was published. The talk suggests that is the time frame to release the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer, as well (four to five weeks).

Director J.J. Abrams is known for keeping things to himself during his productions and, despite leaks and rumors surrounding the shooting of the massive blockbuster, nobody really knows for sure what will transpire in the movie. We know the plot picks up 30 years after the end of Return of the Jedi and we also know we will see the original cast members and some new faces.

But that is as much as has been revealed officially by Abrams and Disney. No small feat, considering the interest surrounding the filming of Star Wars: The Force Awakens , but as we get ready to hopefully see the first teaser trailer soon, many questions remain, which is a testament to Abrams and his fierce protection of the details of the film.

A report in Screen Rant via Bada** Digest reveals some potentially interesting details about the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer, shared by sources who are reportedly familiar with the production. Information is vague and we warn you to take it with the proverbial grain of salt. Possible spoilers ahead, continue with caution.

According to the source, the trailer will be very short (about one minute in all) and it will be made up of short glimpses at the main characters.

“It’s going to have ‘The Force Theme’ played on woodwinds, softly, over flashing images of the main leads, each fading to black. There’s no dialogue, just reveals of the characters. And then the music swells up into a full orchestral piece — perhaps what John Williams recorded this weekend? — and we hear a female voice, likely Daisy Ridley’s, saying ‘Wake up.’”

“And then the title card appears — Star Wars: The Force Awakens — and we see the Millennium Falcon, firing blasters, coming right at the camera.”

If this information is indeed accurate, it makes sense since, like we said, Abrams doesn’t give much away, not even in a teaser trailer. By that time, impatient fans will be ready for anything official in regards to Star Wars: The Force Awakens , which appears to be coming before the end of the year.
