Kate Middleton is pregnant and ready to officially announce soon, rumors surrounding the royal family have claimed.
The 31-year-old British royal so far has denied pregnancy rumors, but reports say the evidence of a second baby for Kate and Prince William has now grown overwhelming. During a visit to Australia last month, Prince William reportedly thanked a fan who have him a shawl for his baby Prince George, and William then said the fan should “make another one soon.”
A report from Life & Style magazine claimed that Kate Middleton told William she was pregnant just before the couple’s three-week visit to New Zealand and Australia last month.
“Prince William presented Kate Middleton with a dazzling $5,650 Cartier watch, but the top-of-the-line timepiece couldn’t match the Duchess of Cambridge’s gift for her husband,” the report noted.
Only a few people officially know that Kate Middleton is pregnant, the report claimed. Sources said the couple’s parents are privy to the news, along with a few other members of the royal family.
If Kate and William are truly pregnant, they could be taking after Kate’s parents.
“[Kate’s] mother, Carole, was pregnant with her sister, Pippa, just 11 months after she gave birth to Kate. William and Kate also really want children close in age,” said the insider.
Another source added that Kate is hoping for a girl this time around.
“Although they’ve both always said they don’t care what sex their children are, I know Kate would love to have a girl,” the source noted.
But there have been plenty of rumors that Kate Middleton is pregnant over the course of the last few months, and the other instances have proved incorrect. The latest came in April, when Kate dashed rumors that she was expecting a child when she and William went on a wine-tasting tour in New Zealand.
