Premier League sides, including Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, have revealed team kits for the 2016-17 season, as well as Manchester United’s new kit for away games. With another season drawing to a close, the unveiling of next year’s new Premier League kits can provide an exciting insight into what teams will be wearing next year when they clash on home turf or travel during the 2016-17 campaign. Manchester United gave fans a first look at their new away kit: a “collegiate blue” jersey with red trim, the latest product of MUFC’s huge £750 million partnership deal with Adidas. Other Premier League teams, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Leicester City and Chelsea, also revealed their kits for next year’s season, with theirs and Manchester United’s new away kit drawing mixed reactions from fans.

Manchester United’s new kit for away games is a navy blue shirt with red stripes on the shoulders, bearing, front and center, the logo of main sponsor, Chevrolet. The jersey revealed by the Red Devils hits the club’s shops at £60 — about $85 — and Man. United hopes to wear the strip in next season’s Champions League.
ESPN pointed out that fans have identified a striking resemblance between Manchester United’s new kit and the club’s training gear throughout the 2015-16 season last week.
“A cursory examination reveals that the general social media response has been less than complimentary since the shirt was first leaked last week, with many fans pointing out that it bears a striking resemblance to the training gear United have been sporting this year,” said ESPN.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool’s new home kit for the 2016-17 season, also unveiled recently, features a tribute to the 96 Liverpool fans who died in the Hillsborough disaster of 1989. The strip was designed by American sports gear giant New Balance, and is — unsurprisingly — predominantly red, with yellow details found in the trim, Liverpool crest and sponsor logos. The kit also features a quote reading: “There’s no noise like the Anfield noise.”
Skipper Jordan Henderson is reportedly pleased with the club’s new kit for home games next year.
“I think it’s nice. There’s a few different things,” Henderson told The Mirror. “The side vents are meant to help us cool down — but that’s not working right now.”
Champions Leicester City, as well as Manchester United, revealed the club’s new kits for the 2016-17 season. Manchester United’s new kit for away games could not rival the Leicester Foxes’ 2015-16 shirt in sales at the club’s shop in the wake of their phenomenal success during this year’s Premier League season.
“After fans immediately emptied the club’s shop to celebrate their phenomenal success, the Foxes have quickly restocked as they unveil their new £50 home shirt,” reports The Mirror.
The makers of Leicester’s new kit, PUMA, told The Mirror that the club’s 2016-17 outfit will feature an exclusive embellishment.
“For the first time in the clubs history, the official Leicester home shirt will be sporting the new iconic gold Premier League embellishment – only reserved for Champions and worn with pride,” PUMA told The Mirror. “The sleek contemporary style brings a bold, geometric jacquard design to the body and sleeves to create an eye catching on pitch statement, while also boasting a traditional yet stylised collar.”

They are heading into this weekend two points adrift of Manchester City, and need to beat Bournemouth to stand any chance of overtaking their local rivals.
Manchester City is also two points adrift of Manchester United, new kit aside. The club’s new kit for away games, revealed alongside Premier League 2016-17 kits for Arsenal and Liverpool, will hopefully bring fans to the support of MUFC.
