Does Wendy Davis qualify as a sugar baby?
For what it’s worth, Wendy Davis has reportedly received the endorsement of the CEO/founder of SeekingArrangement.com , a dating site that seeks to facilitate “mutually beneficial relationships” between rich sugar daddies and sugar babies.
This is all because Davis, a Democrat who is running for Texas governor, is apparently not exactly the struggling single mom as portrayed in her biography. An article in the Dallas Morning News revealed among other things that she dumped her second husband right after he finished paying off her law school tuition. She also gave up custody of her two kids to her ex.
Davis blamed the story on her likely GOP opponent Greg Abbott, the state’s attorney general, but Dallas Morning News reporter Wayne Slater, a liberal who appears regularly on MSNBC, publicly said he had no contact with the Abbott campaign in writing the article. Whether Slater will ever again receive an invite to MSNBC remains to be seen.
Commenting on the Wendy Davis revelations, SeekingArrangement CEO Brandon Wade reportedly explained that “Wendy Davis is proof that the sugar lifestyle is empowering. It can take a single mom from squalor to scholar, or in this case from the trailer park to Harvard, and a seat in the Senate. The sugar lifestyle creates an opportunity for women to transcend the single mother stereotypes.” Davis is running for governor rather than the US Senate, but Wade’s tongue-in-cheek endorsement nonetheless follows on to all the recently publicity about the embellishments in Davis’ background.
According to Wade’s website , “Sugar Babies are students, actresses, models or girls & guys next door. You know you deserve to date someone who will pamper you, empower you, and help you mentally, emotionally and financially.”
About the discrepancies in the Wendy Davis narrative, controversial columnist Ann Coulter quipped that “Hey — maybe Jeff Davis should run for governor! He’s the one who raised two kids, including a stepdaughter, while holding down a job and paying for his wife’s law school. There’s a hard-luck story!”
Davis also criticized Abbott for not walking a day in her shoes, which is either an intentional or intentional reference to the fact that the attorney general is paralyzed from a freak accident at age 26 and is wheelchair-bound. Davis supporters in the “ stand with Wendy” campaign were also caught on video mocking Abbott about his disability as well as alluding to acts of vote fraud.
SeekingArrangement claims that “There are hundreds of dating websites, but no other dating website is focused exclusively on helping the rich and successful meet the young and beautiful!”
