Ariana Grande dropped her third studio album, Dangerous Woman , more than two months ago, and fans are most definitely ready for the star to finally release tour dates.
Ariana fans have flocked to social media in recent days in an attempt to encourage the singer to finally unveil the all-important dates for her upcoming tour, which is thought to kick off in late 2016 or early 2017.
“We need more info on the ‘Dangerous Woman Tour’ ASAP!!!!!! Can you give us something? @ArianaGrande,” Twitter user @toulouseswink tweeted out, while Ariana fan @DEADSTROYA asked Grande on the social media site, “when will we know the dangerous woman tour dates??? please tell us!”
“Where is Ariana [at] with these dangerous woman tour dates..???? @ArianaGrande hurry pls,” @artalessia tweeted, while Grande fan @buterahangel wrote, “Dangerous Woman world tour soon… I’m crying & exited.”
Fans were sent into overdrive about the possible imminent release of tour dates after a slew of Grande’s biggest fans began circulating what appeared to be teaser artwork for Ariana’s upcoming string of shows.
A number of Ariana fans shared the graphic, which teased “Ariana Grande: Dangerous Woman World Tour” and “coming soon” on social media, though it’s not clear if the image is official or fan made.
But as fans continue to speculate on when Grande will finally reveal which major cities she’ll be heading to when she hits the road for the upcoming “Dangerous Woman Tour,” Ariana most recently teased that the dates could be coming sooner rather than later.
Ariana took to social media herself to get fans excited about her upcoming shows on July 7, teasing that her team was currently working out the big tour dates.
“Working on these tour dates for you, babes,” Ariana tweeted .
However, Grande’s tour plans appeared to hit a snag just days later after blogger Perez Hilton claimed that Ariana’s team may have been having difficulty getting promoters on board.
Speaking out about the “Dangerous Woman tour” in a podcast, Perez claimed that promoters were reluctant to get on board with Grande’s upcoming shows because they supposedly feared that Ariana would be unable to sell out larger venues.
“I’m hearing that [Ariana] and her new team, not her old team [including] Scooter Braun, they want to go and do arenas again,” Hilton alleged of Ariana’s tour plans in his podcast, The PHP: Perez Hilton Podcast .
“So if she’s not going to do arenas again, that means something’s wrong,” Hilton added of Grande. “I’m hearing that there is resistance among promoters to back an arena tour with Ariana Grande. They don’t think it will sell.”
Ariana and her team have yet to officially speak out regarding the speculation, but it sounds like Grande certainly won’t be scrapping her plans to hit the road anytime soon.
Grande first confirmed that she would be touring in support of her latest album way back in May, telling fans via her official website that she was expecting to hit the road in late 2016 or early 2017.
“I want you to be the first to know that I’m going on tour end of this year/early next year!” Ariana revealed on her official website , giving fans the opportunity to receive a pre-sale code for her tour stops if they pre-ordered Dangerous Woman from her site.
“Details are still being finalized but I want to give you the chance to get the tickets before anyone else,” Ariana continued, telling fans who ordered the CD would “receive a pre-sale code that gives you an opportunity to buy the tickets in advance of the general on-sale.”
When do you think Ariana Grande will finally drop her much-anticipated “Dangerous Woman Tour” dates?
