Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are amongst Hollywood’s brightest stars, but they are reportedly willing to give it all up for the sake of their children. An inside source told Hollywood Life that Pitt and Jolie have put their careers on hold so their kids can live a normal life. Does that “normal” life mean being a nightmare to their next-door neighbors?
“Neither Brad, nor Angelina have plans to act anytime soon,” the insider shared. “Both Brad and Angelina have made the decision to cut back on acting work, as it takes them away from home for such long periods of time, and they won’t be able to be there for the kids as much as they want.”
The source added that Pitt is scheduled to work on the sequel to World War Z , which hasn’t started production just yet. Jolie is also slated to appear in the second Maleficent , which is also in pre-production. With neither of them filming at the moment, they can focus on the kids and adjust to life after the split.
Pitt and Julie’s busy schedules prevented them from focusing on the needs of their family over the past few months. With their schedules now free, the source says they are both committed to giving their kids a normal upbringing, even if that means putting projects on hold and spending time with their kids in their new neighborhood.
“The kids are everything to [Brad and Angelina],” the insider revealed. “They are parents, number one, and Hollywood stars, number two.”
While it’s good to see them working as a team, Celebrity Insider reports that Angelina Jolie’s new neighbors aren’t fond of her big family . The actress recently purchased a home – not just any home, but the Cecille B. DeMille Mansion – in Los Feliz, which is just blocks from Pitt’s massive estate.
The moving-in process has created a nightmare scenario for the exclusive community. Sources claim that Jolie’s moving trucks have been blocking roads every day and that her house is complete chaos. Unfortunately, with six kids in tow, things aren’t going to slow down anytime soon.
Jolie is also turning her new house into the place to be this summer as far as her kids are concerned. Hollywood Life recently reported that she had installed a 100-foot waterslide that goes down a grassy hill and ends in the pool. Not sure how her neighbors will react to such an eyesore in their neighborhood, let alone at the historic mansion.
Pitt and Jolie have not responded to the rumors surrounding their futures in Hollywood. Jolie filed for divorce in September, and the two have been fighting an ugly custody battle ever since.
