Many fans of The Office waited with bated breath for Jim to profess his love to Pam, and when he finally did, almost everyone was on board with this couple. Viewers saw this onscreen couple’s love flourish with such joy that some wondered if their electric onscreen chemistry meant there was something going on off-screen between actors John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer.
Krasinski found love with actress Emily Blunt, and eight years after meeting, they are married with two daughters. For Fischer, this is a clear sign that John found “his Pam.”
The great thing about binge watching television is that new fans are always jumping on board even though it’s been ten years since Jim and Pam shared their first kiss. One fan was so excited about the chemistry between the two actors, they decided to tweet at both stars, writing, “I’m watching the office for the first time and I’m very sadden to hear that you two aren’t together in real life.”
Fischer replied to the fan with a sweet and succinct tweet. “If it you makes you feel better, I found my Jim and he found his Pam – they just happened to be named Lee and Emily :).”
While we know that Krasinski and Emily Blunt are serving up couples goals on the regular, Fischer’s relationship isn’t in the limelight. The actress went on to marry writer/director Lee Kirk in 2010 and has a son Weston Lee, and a daughter, Harper Marie, with Kirk.

The small tweet by Fischer is an about-face from her comments that she made about her relationship, which some think were taken out of context during an interview. While on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Now , the actress told Andy Cohen about the chemistry she shared with Krasinski.
“There’s a real part of me that is Pam and a real part of him that’s Jim, and those parts of us were genuinely in love with one another. In real life, we aren’t totally Pam and totally Jim. So in real life we’re not, like, the perfect match.”
When he heard of the quote, Krasinski told The Daily Beast that he was sure she was misquoted. Though to play devil’s advocate, this was a live television interview.
“I’m sure she was trying to say something nice about how genuine the acting relationship was, of bringing a relationship that became that popular onscreen — and I think we both feel it’s such an honor to be a part of that relationship. As far as how she was quoted about saying we were ‘genuinely in love,’ I think that was taken wildly out of context and I feel bad for her.”
That said, it’s no hard feelings between the two. Following the back and forth, John Krasinski shared photos with his co-star who visited him during his off-broadway show, Dry Powder .
Krasinski tweeted out the photo with the comical caption, “So…this rabid theater fan came to #DryPowder last night!”

The last time the two were onscreen together was for the series finale of The Office , which aired in 2013. Since then, Krasinski has gone on to direct the upcoming film, The Hollars , and broke out in a big way for his performance in 13 Hours as Jack Silva. Jenna Fischer returned to TV in You, Me and the Apocalypse , and The Mysteries of Laura .
