‘Duck Dynasty’ Expands Its Family As John Luke Robertson Is Now Engaged

For many years now, the Robertson Clan has given the world a taste of their world in 30-minute chunks on their hit show Duck Dynasty . Since then, the family members have expanded out to other ventures, which includes public appearances and book deals. The latest venture “outside of the show” is Sadie Robertson’s participation on the hit show Dancing with the Stars . The Inquisitr previously reported on news regarding her performances on the show. This includes Sadie stating her fear of Val Chmerkovskiy . Luckily for her, she was paired with Derek Hough .

Now, there are reports of even more good news for the Robertson Clan. John Luke Robertson is now engaged to his girlfriend.

According to Entertainment Tonight , John Luke Robertson is the eldest son of Willie and Korie Robertson, and just this weekend, he proposed to his girlfriend Mary Kate McEacharn. A photo posted to Mary’s Instagram (shown above) explains exactly how she feels about becoming the next Robertson.

It is also safe to report that Mary saying “I do” was the best birthday gift John Luke could ever get because it is also his 19th birthday. However, some people are wondering why he is marrying so young. That question was answered when he opened up during an interview with Us Weekly .

“I know my parents married young as well, and they have always been examples of what ‘could be’ to me. Fast-forward 22 years and they are more in love than ever, and I hope Mary Kate and I are the same way in the years to come. God has truly blessed us.”

Finally, Willie Robertson, John Luke’s dad, took to Facebook to write a very sweet birthday message for him which is attached below.
