Tamar Braxton made a big announcement about her new talk show ahead of the season 3 premiere of The Real .

Just four months after she was sensationally fired from the daytime talk show, Tamar made a huge announcement of her own, upstaging The Real ‘s season 3 premiere on September 12.

Braxton fan @TamarHQ took to Instagram on September 10 to post a video of Braxton making a huge announcement about her own talk show just two days before The Real returns for its first season without Tamar.

According to the fan captured video uploaded to Instagram, Tamar revealed during an appearance at a “New Thinking – New World Saturday” event in Atlanta that her upcoming talk show will be titled The Tamar Braxton Show and is currently expected to premiere next September.

“Well, it’s The Tamar Braxton Show ,” Tamar said when asked about her upcoming solo talk show, “it’s next September that it’s supposed to be [premiering].”

Notably, Braxton’s big talk show announcement came just two days before The Real is set to return for a third season, the first without Tamar on the panel, and it appeared that the other series wasn’t far from the mind of Braxton’s fans.

Tamar’s dedicated followers were quick to slam the daytime talk show following Braxton’s big announcement while throwing some serious shade at the star’s former co-stars Loni Love, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon ahead of their big premiere.

“I can’t wait! And I hope you come on at the same time The Real comes on so they can lose all of their viewers,” Instagram user @302_twig commented on @TamarHQ’s video, while @_selfmademodel_ added, “yaaaay for Tamar. I’ll be watching forget The Real .”

Undoubtedly, Tamar’s big announcement had some pretty interesting timing.

Fans were quick to claim that Braxton’s big news somewhat upstaged the upcoming season 3 premiere of The Real and also comes just days after BET reported that Tamar’s dedicated fans threatened to boycott the series following Braxton’s firing.

A number of Tamar Braxton’s fans flocked to social media to slam the show prior to its big return, claiming that they would be boycotting without Braxton appearing alongside Loni, Jeannie, Adrienne, and Tamera on the panel.

“We stand for Tamar and how #TheReal did her so wrong! Do not watch the The Real anymore! #BoycottTheReal” @soforreal29 wrote, and @cherriselee added, “Don’t watch The Real , because they were not real about TAMAR. Boycott the real!”

Tamar’s big The Tamar Braxton Show announcement comes just three months after Steve Harvey announced that he would be teaming up with the Braxton Family Values reality star for her own talk show.

Steve made the big announcement after Tamar appeared on The Steve Harvey Morning Show on June 2, revealing that he would be producing Braxton’s upcoming talk show just weeks after she was fired from The Real .

“We are proud to announce that 112th Street Productions… in conjunction with Endemol Shine North America has just signed Tamar to produce a talk show, a TV series,” Harvey said on the radio show, according to The Jasmine Brand , although both Tamar and Steve are so far staying tight-lipped on any further details.

Tamar also got seriously candid about her firing from The Real in the interview earlier this year, telling Steve that being fired from the series was “heartbreaking” and “devastating” for her, while also confirming that she was never given an official reason for being fired after appearing on the series since it first began in 2013.

“I got my heart broke,” Tamar said at the time, “it just wasn’t by a man.”

Tamar’s big announcement also comes after months of drama between Braxton and her former The Real co-stars, including Braxton referring to the group as “phony b*****s,” as well as her admission that there could be a feud brewing between the former co-hosts after Braxton confirmed that she’s no longer speaking to any of her former friends.
