Is Outdaughtered returning to TLC for a fourth season? As your old Magic 8-Ball used to say, signs point to “Yes” — a camera crew was spotted hanging out with the family over the weekend, fueling rumors that the Busbys are making a return to TLC.
As InTouch Weekly reports , it’s been a rough couple of years for the Busby family, and some fans have been concerned that the stress of it all would just be too much and they’d quit the show. Family patriarch Adam, for example, famously battled postpartum depression — a battle he fought publicly on the show, baring his soul for the fans. Then there were the issues with mom Danielle trying to re-enter the workforce.
And of course, Hurricane Harvey devastated that part of Texas where the family lives. Speaking to Country Living magazine, Danielle explained that, while the Busby home was spared from the worst of the storm’s wrath, her mom, Mimi, didn’t fare so well.
“The water couldn’t drain and it took about four days until we could actually get to the house. We have had to throw out everything she owns, rip floors up, pull all the paneling off the walls, rip cabinets out…the house has gone down to the studs.”
With all of that bad stuff going on with the family, you can imagine how they’d prefer to take a break.
Fortunately for fans, however, recent events all but confirm that the show is back on!
This weekend, the family was spotted at Dewberry Farm , a family attraction in Brookshire, Texas, complete with pumpkins, a corn maze, and other fall fun. What’s more, there was a camera crew with them!
Now, at this point it bears noting that there’s no knowing whether or not those were TLC cameras; it could very well have been that they were filming a commercial or doing something else not related to the show.
However, Adam has dropped hints on Twitter that Outdaughtered is coming back. When fans asked if the show was returning, Adam was hopeful.
We love sharing our family with you all. We will see! #outdaughtered https://t.co/SI9hq1hGtn

Meanwhile, shows about large families seem to be TLC’s bread and butter. Between Counting On, 7 Little Johnstons , and Meet the Putmans , the cable channel brings in over a million viewers each week. The network would be foolish not to bring Outdaughtered back!
