Kate Middleton played volleyball with young athletes, wearing wedges, during a charity event.
The Duchess of Cambridge displayed her amazing post baby body in the process (while wearing a recycled outfit) and showed she is just as competitive as she is modest, while wearing wedges.
Kate is a patron of the charity SportsAid , which helps Olympic and Paralymic hopefuls with training, travel, and equipment expenses.
Many of the 2012 London Olympics participants had been assisted by the organization at one point or another.
The Duke and Duchess are beginning a new phase in their lives as royals. William, who is second in line to the throne, is taking on more of the official duties that come with his rank as a senior member of the royal family.
On Thursday, he lead his first investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace, in place of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, during which he knighted and handed medals to several British subjects.
Kate Middleton is following suit with a more prominent and public role, after being away from the limelight in the months leading to and after the birth of the couple’s first born, Prince George.
Escaping the attention and pressures of London the family retreated to her parents’ home in Bucklebury for some weeks and later on to Anglesey in Wales.
Now, Kate is becoming more visible and made her first solo appearance after George’s birth, attending the event as a patron of SportsAid .
Clarence House shared some candid photos of the Kate Middleton playing volleyball with the young athletes, while wearing wedges, on its Twitter account. Take a look.
