Glock released a new pro-gun commercial which is on its way to going viral online. Like in previous ads, the new gun commercial focuses on the idea that criminals are choosing the wrong person, home, or business to rob. The Second Amendment supportive ads blend the purchase a gun message with a bit of humor.
In 2011, a series of popular Glock ads features Marine drill sergeant Lee Ermey, also known as Gunny, The Blaze reports. The first “Gunny & Glock” ad takes place in a diner and depicts the dangers of potential robberies. The second ad, “Wrong House” obviously focuses on how owning a Glock can help protect the personal property and the lives of loved ones.
The new Glock ad, “Wrong Woman” focuses on women and firearms. The commercial begins with the young woman walking into her home alone at night. She grabs a cup of coffee and starts to lounge on her couch. The scene goes back and forth between the woman watching a scary movie and an equally scary looking man sitting outside in a truck. He knocks on the door, but when she looks through the peep hole no one is visible. He knocks again, same scenario.
She begins breathing heavy, but remains calm and retrieves her gun from the bedroom. While back on the couch with her Glock next to her, she hears the knock a third time. When the man busts through the door, he is met with a gun pointed at her face. He passes out from the fight. The intruder awakes to Gunny slapping a pair of handcuffs onto his wrists.
The actress in the new Glock commercial is Courtney Hope. She has appeared in Criminal Minds , Grey’s Anatomy , CSI Miami , and a host of other popular television shows. Most recently the 23-year-old actress filmed a pilot entitled, The Assassins , according to her website . In addition to being a small screen regular, Hope is reportedly a very intelligent young woman. She graduated high school at 15 and began college on her 16th birthday.
