‘Jurassic Park 4’ Director Colin Trevorrow Addresses Plot Rumors

Jurassic Park 4 director Colin Trevorrow really hopes you’re not putting too much stock into the plot rumors you’ve been reading about online during your lunch break.

The filmmaker is currently hard at work putting the finer details of the sequel together. Much to his surprise, quite a bit of information about the upcoming flick has somehow found its way online. According to Trevorrow, these reports may not be very reliable.

“I saw some of the rumors on the internet and I would have all kinds of red flags going off if I heard they were going to muzzle a T-Rex. So I would say don’t believe everything you read, there are way more insiders on the internet than there are in real life,” he recently told Bleeding Cool .

Jurassic Park 4 rumors suggested that the film would take place after the attraction becomes a hit with tourists. All of the dinosaurs have undergone extensive training in hopes of keeping them docile. However, the appearance of a new breed of dino throws a monkey wrench into these plans.

In order to stop this new threat from wiping out everyone at the park, our heroes decide to use a muzzled T-Rex to stop this menace. As cool as that plot may sound, Colin Trevorrow insists this isn’t the story line he’s pursuing at the moment.

“It’s important to make a movie for the fans but I also have to remember that there’s a lot of people who just couldn’t care less and need me to make a solid case for why the hell there’s a ‘Jurassic Park 4’ in the first place and I want to make a movie for them too,” the filmmaker said.

It’s currently believed that the next installment of the franchise will be ready to roll by 2015 . Although the plot rumors might be a little off the mark, it’s currently believed that the movie will feature a handful of new dinosaurs . Nothing about that rumor has been confirmed just yet.
