Phaedra Parks is currently a single mother of two and she’s been working on keeping her business ventures alive and healthy since her ex-husband, Apollo Nida, was sentenced to eight years behind bars. Phaedra was counting down the days until Nida turned himself in, as he was making her life a living nightmare and some of these scenes were caught for The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But just because her ex-husband is now behind bars doesn’t mean that her life is any simpler. In fact, she’s already had to deal with a bomb threat, her divorce drama and even losing some friendships.
According to a new Bravo report, Phaedra Parks is now revealing that the drama between Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield isn’t really exciting anymore. For a while, these two fought on The Real Housewives of Atlanta about who had the best home. Sheree had been building her home for years, and Kenya was convinced that she could complete her Moore Manor in a much faster timeline. She bet that the home could be done with a few months, but it did take longer than that.

But on this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta , Phaedra Parks has been dealing with some heavier issues than a home renovation. On this season of the show, Parks attended a DNC convention where they talked about gun violence. Also, she has been dealing with her divorce, as her now ex-husband Apollo Nida didn’t want. And lastly, she had to deal with a bomb threat from a previous client and deal with her co-stars questioning her honesty about the story. So when Phaedra Parks looks at everything that’s going on, she thinks it is rather obscene.
“In light of what’s going on in our world, to debate about the difference between a 10,000-square-foot home and a 7,000-square-foot home, it seems quite petty because there’s people out there starving, we’ve got a new president, we’ve got racial issues going on — we’ve got things that are really going to change the face of country at this point,” Phaedra Parks has revealed to Bravo about the feud between Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield, sharing, “And so to sit around and talk about bidets and who’s got this and who’s got that, it’s just shallow at a certain point.”
Of course, Phaedra Parks is currently living in a huge house herself in the fabulous Buckhead neighborhood. It was a home that she purchased when she was living with Apollo Nida, and he worked hard on the home before he was jailed for eight years for fraud and identity theft. Since then, she’s been focused on taking care of the children, she hasn’t thought about moving or finding a new home. But it sounds like her home is just perfect for her, Dylan and Ayden. But just because Phaedra Parks isn’t getting involved in the housing feud doesn’t mean she can’t have an opinion.

“Chateau Shereé is everything. Let me tell you, it’s like a mini White House,” Phaedra Parks explained to Bravo about Sheree’s new home, adding that she would have an opinion of Kenya’s home if she hadn’t been kicked out, adding, “You know, I haven’t had the full tour of Moore Manor because I was kicked out within seconds. I can’t say what’s going on at Moore Manor — I’ve been in it twice and really hadn’t seen but the kitchen — the kitchen is great. But Chateau Shereé, it gave me life.”
What do you think of Phaedra Parks’ comments about real issues vs. the feud between Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield? Do you think she has a point?
