Jennifer Aniston wants her brother Alex to serve as fiance Justin Theroux’s best man when the couple wed.
Aniston and Theroux will host a low-key wedding at their shared Bel Air mansion. Sources close to the couple say Aniston really wants to keep the ceremony “in the family” and has requested her brothers deep involvement.
A family inside says her fiance is more than happy to have Alex (AJ), serve as his best man on their special day.
“Justin feels that having AJ act as his best man at the wedding will give him an anchor in the family… There’s no doubt that AJ is quirky, but he’s got a good heart and Jen does love him,” the source reveals.
When asked about AJ the source says he is a bit of a drifter who travels between Alaska and Los Angeles in his van. They also claim:
“AJ is exactly the kind of person that security would throw out of Jen’s wedding. Instead, he’ll be front and center at the ceremony.”
When asked if her wedding will be big and lavish like her wedding to Brad Pitt the source says she “hated” her first wedding.
“It was too big and incredible stressful,” the insider said. “This time she wants a small family affair and she wants to go the extra mile to let her father see that she is still happy at last. And she knows that including his son would make him happiest.”
Aniston and Theroux have not revealed when their wedding will take place. Given security issues and attempted invasions by members of the paparazzi we likely won’t know about the wedding until the day it occurs.
