Chris Brown Seizure Confirmed, Caused By Stress And ‘Non-Stop Negativity’

The Chris Brown seizure rumors flying around on Friday have been confirmed, at least in part.

Nicole Perna, the 24-year-old R&B singer’s rep, has released a statement acknowledging that Brown did experience a nonepileptic seizure (NES) while working in his Los Angeles recording studio.

As I reported yesterday, the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the 911 call very early Friday morning. At that time, there were conflicting reports about whether or not Brown went to the hospital .

He didn’t.

However, Perna said that a doctor did examine him on Friday afternoon to make sure the Fine China singer would be OK.

And what was the cause of the scary seizure ? “His doctor…attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the non-stop negativity.”

Brown has apparently been feeling under assault. On Monday, he was booked on charges for a hit-and-run that he says didn’t happen. On Tuesday, he tweeted dark hints that he might quit music and then later removed the tweets without discussion.

And now this. For hours on Friday and into Saturday morning, concerned fans were tweeting with the hashtag #PrayForChrisBrown or just #ChrisBrown.

But the haters and doubters were out in force too. And Chris Brown still seems caught up in that negativity.

In his latest tweet Saturday morning, Brown said that, “They won’t love u until u r a memory.”

I will admit that I wasn’t aware that seizures could be caused by negativity.

But I’m not a doctor.

If negativity is indeed the cause of Chris Brown’s seizure, he might do better to focus on the fans who prayed for him and his recovery. The haters aren’t going to change their minds about him just because he’s sad.
