‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Could Luke Spencer Be Coming Back Soon?

Published on: July 26, 2016 at 1:09 PM

There are some deep dark secrets lurking on General Hospital this week that are ready to be exposed. The saga on Cassadine Island continues with Valentin having shot Kevin Collins and was about ready to eliminate the others until Lulu showed up with a gun pointed at him. Is there a possibility that Luke Spencer could come back to somehow tie up this storyline?

On Monday’s episode, Lulu was down in the tunnels when she happened upon a shocking discovery. She found a skeleton that she believes could be her dad. This could very well be a lead-in to Luke coming back to the ABC soap. Lulu discovered that the skeleton was wearing Luke’s bracelet and earring, and that had her worried her dad had died on Cassadine Island since no one has heard from him for a while. As Celeb Dirty Laundry pointed out, this may be a good time for the writers at General Hospital to bring Tony Geary back for this particular storyline.

It has been a year now since Luke Spencer left town. Tony Geary has retired from the soap, but he did say that he would be willing to come back for a short trip to Port Charles if the time was right and the storyline was worth it. Since Luke’s loved ones, Laura, Lulu, and Dante, are all being held hostage by the evil Valentin, this would be an opportune time for him to show up on the island.

The rich history of General Hospital includes the all-out war between the Spencer and the Cassadine families. Both Laura and Lulu are reliving some of those bad memories of being held against their will on that island in the past, so having Luke added into the drama would give viewers a thrill to have the Spencer family together again. Even though Luke and Laura are now divorced, they are still considered a family and care deeply about each other and their kids.

On Monday’s episode of General Hospital , Lulu got hold of a gun and now has it pointed at Valentin. However, his men still have their guns and could hurt her husband or mother before she even pulls the trigger, so it is likely that Lulu may have to be saved along with everyone else.

Spoilers from TV Source Magazine say that more chaos is about to happen this week, as Jason and Sam may be making a move after not being seen for a few days and will uncover the truth. They have supposedly been cooped up in an upstairs room away from everyone else. Previews for Tuesday shows that Sam faints for some reason while Jason is tied to a chair. He supposedly gets free because Jason is later shown coming down the stairs with a gun in his hand.

Wouldn’t it be fun if Luke were to show up right at that moment? It would certainly be quite a surprise for General Hospital viewers. Some rumors claim that maybe Luke is being held hostage somewhere on Cassadine Island and that possibly Lulu or someone else will find him. However, there have been no announcements of Tony Geary returning to the soap at this point. But then again, why would anyone dress the skeleton with his accessories and have him mentioned right now?

Another possibility is that Helena Cassadine is still alive, so maybe she has Luke stashed somewhere. There is also Nikolas, who is still missing after Valentin shot him and he fell through the window. Where is he at the moment? Could he be tangled up in Helena’s web? It looks like he had poisoned her and everyone thinks she is dead, but Helena doesn’t stay away for very long. Besides, Cassadine Island just isn’t the same without her. Plus, it would be great to see how she would react to be face-to-face with Valentin.

Jason and Sam are supposed to run upon a big secret as well that could change things up for them. A woman and child have yet to appear and that should happen very soon. Many secrets have yet to be revealed on Cassadine Island. Stay tuned.
