Alicia Machado may have appeared in adult videos, a new report about the Miss Universe winner and Hillary Clinton campaign surrogate claims.
Machado was brought to the spotlight in the wake of Monday’s first presidential debate after Hillary Clinton name-dropped the former pageant winner. When asked about Donald Trump’s questionable treatment of women, Clinton recalled the embarrassment Machado suffered after winning the contest Trump owned and putting on some weight.
“This is a man who has calling women pigs, slobs and dogs and someone who has said pregnancy is an inconvenience to employers, who has said that women don’t deserve equal pay unless they do as good a job as men,” Clinton said (via CNN ).
“And one of the worst things he said was about a woman in a beauty contest — he loves beauty contests, supporting them and hanging around them — and he called this woman ‘Miss Piggy,’ then he called her ‘Miss Housekeeping’ because she was Latina. Donald, she has a name. Her name is Alicia Machado. And she has become a U.S. citizen and you can bet she is going to vote this November.”
Now, there may be a new embarrassment for the Miss Universe winner as she is thrust back into the spotlight. In the hours after the debate — and Clinton’s camp putting out a pre-made video interviewing the pageant winner about Trump’s treatment of her — some new information has emerged about her history.
A report from the right-leaning Daily Caller claimed that Alicia Machado had appeared in adult videos that could be found online.
“Snippets of an adult film starring Machado are available on multiple free porn websites. Machado also appeared topless in Mexican Playboy in 2006 and 2012. Hillary Clinton invoked the 1996 Miss Universe winner in an attack on Trump during Monday’s debate.”
The report offered no proof that Alicia Machado had appeared in adult videos, though several sites reportedly had videos claiming to show the Miss Universe winner. And Machado had also appeared topless in Mexican Playboy in both 2006 and 2012, the report added.
That was not the only revelation about Alicia Machado to emerge in the last two days. Other reports found that she was implicated in the 1997 murder of her boyfriend’s brother-in-law. Police claimed that Machado drove the getaway car after the shooting, Radar Online reported, but Machado had an alibi as she was reportedly filming a soap opera at the time of the shooting. She was ultimately exonerated.
The revelation that Alicia Machado appeared in adult videos could undercut the plans the Clinton campaign had for the Miss Universe winner. Machado said on Tuesday that she plans to continue speaking out against Trump and will be making appearances in support of Hillary Clinton.

On Wednesday, she appeared on the Today show to discuss Trump’s biting and very public criticism of her weight gain and how it led her to spiral into depression and eating disorders.
“Miss Piggy, Miss Housekeeping, Miss Eating Machine,” Machado said.
“All the time. That was really normal for him, in that moment,” she added.
“It’s hard for me, and I don’t want to remember that moment,” Machado added. “Because I work really hard to forget that moment. That experience, with 18 years old, that hurt to me, really deep inside me.”

And Donald Trump doesn’t seem willing to let the issue go away, either. In a post-debate interview on Fox News, he defended his treatment of Machado, saying that she “she gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem.”
While the reports that she appeared in adult videos or have not been verified, Alicia Machado said she is ready to move beyond her past as a pageant winner and work to encourage others to vote.
