As the hunt for Hatchimals continues, parents just might find favor and get a Hatchimals toy under their Christmas trees by Christmas Day. As reported by the Inquisitr , at least eight different Walmart stores gave nearly eight different answers about their Hatchimals stock status . There were also the $15,000 to $25,000 that folks were paying on eBay in order to get a Hatchimals toy in their hands. Now people searching for Hatchimals may only have to spend from $79.99 to $99.98 in order to score the toy by Christmas.
According to CNBC , on Sunday, December 18, Toys “R” Us stores will replenish their stock of Hatchimals toys, starting at 6 a.m. that morning. According to the Toys “R” Us website, the “Hatchimals Pengualas Pink Egg – One of Two Magical Creatures Inside” product is listed at $69.99 — but expect to pay $10 more for products like the “Hatchimals Draggles Blue/Green Egg – One of Two Magical Creatures Inside” currently listed for $69.99 on the Toys “R” Us website once the toys hits store shelves on Sunday.
The “Hatchimals Pengualas Pink/Teal Egg – One of Two Magical Creatures Inside” and “Hatchimals Draggles Blue/Purple Egg – One of Two Magical Creatures Inside” as well as the “Hatchimals Owlicorn Pink/Blue Egg – One of Two Magical Creatures Inside” toys are all still listed on the Toys “R” Us website at $69.99, but the report claims that the Hatchimals toys will be priced at least at $79.99.
On Walmart’s website, the Hatchimals Burtle by Spin Master Walmart Exclusive is still listed at $48.88 as of this writing but is also listed as out of stock. The “Hatchimals – Hatching Egg – Interactive Creature – Burtle – Purple/Teal Egg – Walmart Exclusive by Spin Master” is listed at $59.99 on Walmart’s website, but is also listed as out of stock right now.
All of the Hatchimals listed on Target’s website are priced at $59.99, with text saying that the Hatchimals are available only in Target stores. That is, only if the Hatchimals are really in the stores. Whereas the Brick Seek Hatchimals tracker may show “limited stock” of Hatchimals in certain Target stores — or the Target website itself may list “limited stock” of Hatchimals in particular Target store locations — calls to those actual Target stores result in Target employees telling customers that they’ve sold out of their stock.
Therefore, those willing to brave Toys “R” Us stores on Sunday, December 18 should check the store locator and verify that their location will have Hatchimals in stock on Sunday when stores plan to open from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. local time every day — lasting from Saturday, December 17 to Thursday, December 22. Then on Friday, December 23, beginning at 6 a.m., Toys “R” Us stores should be open for 39 hours, until 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve. But that doesn’t mean any Hatchimals stock they get in will remain on shelves for that long.
As reported by NBC 4 , Hatchimals could pop up at local Walmart, Target, and other stores any day, so it’s best to check with your local store.
According to i4U , people who haven’t yet been able to score a Hatchimals toy might find favor with buying one directly from the Spin Master website on Thursday, December 15. The publication claims that the company will sell 1,000 Hatchimals with a Toca TV subscription — the last stock before Christmas.
