Camilla Belle Reconnects With Joe Jonas As Jonas Brothers Implode

Camilla Belle came around at just the right time for Joe Jonas.

As his band apparently implodes around him, Joe was re-united with his former love for an intimate chat at a charity event on Thursday night. Joe and Camilla were spotted together at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Grand Inaugural Gala in Beverly Hills, California. The two were photographed as they talked at the star-studded event, with witnesses say they spent a bit of time catching up.

Joe and Camilla dated for a year after Belle was reportedly the woman who came between Joe and Taylor Swift in their short-lived relationship. Taylor immortalized the incident in her 2010 song “Better Than Revenge.”

“She’s not a saint and she’s not what you think/She’s an actress/She’s better known for the things that she does on the mattress.”

Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle stayed together for about a year, breaking up in 2009. There didn’t appear to be any hard feelings as they two caught up on Thursday, sources said.

“For a solid 15 minutes before dinner started, Camilla and Joe had a one-on-one chat at his table,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly about the reunion. “They ended their chat with a big hug,” the source added, noting that there seemed to be no further interaction between the two for the rest of the night.

It may have been comforting for Joe Jonas to see a friendly face. There has reportedly been arguments between the Jonas Brothers, leading the band to cancel their upcoming tour and delete their Twitter account.

“There is a deep rift within the band,” their spokesman, Jesse Derris, told Us Weekly. “There was a big a disagreement over their music direction.”

Camilla Belle has been busy since dating Joe Jonas. The actress has scored a number of big projects, was named to People magazine’s Most Beautiful People list, and last year had a brief relationship with quarterback Tim Tebow.
