Kim Kardashian Reveals Weight Loss Secret


Kim Kardashian’s post-baby weight loss has the reality star smiling for photographers just four months after she gave birth to North West, her first daughter with boyfriend Kanye West.

Recent photos of Kardashian make the star look like she was never even pregnant, and she took to Twitter this weekend and revealed why.

In replying to a fan’s question about her weight loss, Kardashian wrote, “I’ve actually been doing the Atkins diet & luv it.” Well, there you have it.

The reality star has been spotted out several times, showing off her post-baby body, notes Us Weekly. Most recently, the first-time mom was seen hanging out with sisters Khloe and Kylie Jenner while wearing a clingy, low-cut grey dress that showed off her curves.

The next day, Kim Kardashian adopted a laid-back look, wearing jeans, tall brown boots, and a loose-fitting white sweater, while toting Nori around (covered up, of course!).

The Atkins Diet was popular in the early 2000s, but has been attacked by critics who question the diet’s heart healthiness. The plan is low carb and high protein, and advocates replacing starchy carbs with foods that are high in fat and cholesterol. Despite the criticisms of the diet, it appears Kim Kardashian is doing well.

A rep for Atkins spoke with Us Weekly about Kim’s weight loss, saying:

“[Kim] is eating lots of lean proteins, healthy fats like nuts and avocado, carbs, fruits, veggies, and cheese. She wants to be a healthy, nursing mom and not toxify her milk with her diet or lose weight too quickly. She’s been doing Atkins since her doctor approved it at the end of June.”
