Justin Bieber’s ‘All That Matters’ Storms To #1 On iTunes All Around The World

Justin Bieber has done it again. “All That Matters,” the second single from the teen singer’s “Music Mondays” series, has stormed to number #1 on 58 iTunes charts around the world hitting the top five on others.

Proving that an ongoing world tour is invaluable when an artist is promoting new material — Israel, Turkey, Holland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Egypt, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia — are among the countries that embraced Bieber’s guitar-soaked, R&B gem.

Despite being leaked hours before, “All That Matters” was officially released to iTunes at midnight.

Following the release of first single “Heartbreaker” last week, which also rocketed to #1, Justin will unveil a new song from his Journals collection every Monday for 10 weeks in total.

Before today’s premiere, the Canadian took to Twitter to countdown with fans. After the drop, the heartthrob urged them to “Take it to the TOP!! (sic).”

And that’s exactly what they did.

The delighted 19-year-old thanked Beliebers on the social media networking site, also noting his native country’s holiday.

“Woke up jetlagged and saw #AllThatMatters #1 in so many countries and top 5 in so many more!, ” Bieber wrote. “Thank u and Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!!”

Previously describing Journals as his way of “sharing” with fans, the song features a Jimi Hendrix-influenced guitar backdrop to simple, emotional lyrics that topic love and loss.

In the chorus, the singer is heard telling his girl, “You’re all that matters to me / Yeah yeah, ain’t worried about nobody else / If it ain’t you, I ain’t myself / You make me complete / You’re all that matters to me.”

“Yeah, yeah, what’s a king bed without a queen / There ain’t no ‘I’ in team / You make me complete / You’re all that matters to me.”

As before, Justin explained the context of the song in a public statement.

“The lyrics of this song are pretty self explanatory – when you fall in love with someone, that someone can make you feel whole,” he wrote.

“I feel like anyone who has been in love knows what I mean. The song conveys that being in love is one of the greatest feelings on earth. Love is all that matters. But the void you feel when love goes away is gut-wrenching.”

The superstar added: “I worked so hard on this song in the studio — trying to put that feeling into music was extremely important to me. I’m happy to share it with you. – JB.”

Like Bieber’s first single, this latest will spark more speculation about the apparently lovesick teen star’s relationship with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

For her part, the Latina recently shared her reaction to “Heartbreaker,” saying:

“Honestly, that’s what’s so beautiful though about music … Especially him, he’s super talented at being able to use what he feels and interpret that through music. I mean it’s what you do to grow as an artist, it’s what I’ve done and many people do. So, it’s sweet.”

The 10-week “Music Mondays” drive dovetails the December 8 wrap of Bieber’s Believe tour while leading into the build-up to the Christmas Day debut of his second movie-documentary, Believe. The Jon M. Chu directed feature will play in theaters for one week.

“All That Matters” is now available at iTunes and at the singer’s Vevo. It looks like Beliebers will be getting another dose of #FilmFridays this week.

A snapshot of post-premiere tweets around the web after the jump.
