Justin Bieber has released the first teenie teaser from his upcoming movie-documentary Believe 3D.
Titled “#Stache” in honor of the 19-year-old’s now departed facial fuzz , the 36 second clip offered a lighthearted look at the singer’s step into young adulthood.
“That’s how much of a man I am… ‘stache,” Bieber quipped to his manager Scooter Braun after he was teased about his “manhood.”
Continuing the joke, the teen star declared, “Speaking of grown men, I’m drinking coffee right now.”
As Bieber and Braun announced yesterday via Twitter, the teaser was a reward to fans for getting the singer’s new single “Heartbreaker” to #1 on the US iTunes chart and 62 other countries at its peak.
“I keep my promises. U got #heartbreaker to #1 so I owe u #filmfridays…,” Justin tweeted . “Here is your first #filmfridays. The #stache lol [link to video] see u Sunday at Midnight.”
Joining the online flurry which saw tweets from Braun and others in Team Bieber, Believe director Jon M. Chu added,
“There’s more to his story (sic).”
Mentor Usher and mother Pattie Mallette also make appearances in the short video and offer their opinions on the teen star. “As a 19-year-old, Justin is now becoming his own man,” Usher says.
“I think it’s hard for parents to let go, but I think that it’s really exciting, too, to see him maturing,” Mallette added, smiling.
Right on cue, Justin is then seen pulling off the walking-down-the-stairs classic behind a kitchen worktop.
The Believe documentary — a follow-up to Chu’s 2011 Bieber feature Never Say Never — will mix footage from the Believe tour, candid material, and interviews with the singer and his team.
The movie hits theaters on Christmas Day and will play for one week only, as per Braun’s tweet.

Meanwhile, Justin may be thousands of miles away on tour in the Chinese province of Macau, but he is set to release his next single “All That Matters” this weekend as part of his “Music Mondays” campaign.
After unveiling the song’s artwork on Friday, the singer took to Twitter to tell fans:
