You know that game that everybody who isn’t playing GTA 5 is likely busy with, Saints Row 4? You’re probably aware that it originated when DLC for Saints Row the Third ended up being canceled and turned into a full-blown sequel. Enter the Dominatrix involves an alternate storyline involving the Zinyak invasion where the Saints are trapped in a virtual wold controlled by an insane AI.

It’s interesting how the DLC that became a whole new game ended up being DLC for the new game. Anyway, Saints Row 4‘s Enter the Dominatrix will add new characters, new weapons, new missions, and basically keep gamers busy while Deep Silver is working on yet another DLC called How the Saints Saved Christmas.

Yes, Saints Row 4 is ridiculous. That was what Deep Silver was aiming for this time around with gameplay that takes elements of Grand Theft Auto and Prototype and mixes them heavily with parodies of The Matrix and several other TV and video game references. Basically, don’t take the story too seriously and you will probably have a ton of fun just playing around in the virtual Steelport and surrounding cities.

Expect Deep Silver to keep you playing Saints Row 4 with new DLC for probably the next year, as another season pass is also on its way. These two new downloads should keep us all busy and laughing for a while as Saints Row 4 continues to poke fun at everything it can handle (and it’s handled a lot, surprisingly)
