LeSean McCoy Won’t Apologize For Knowshon Moreno Tweet
LeSean McCoy isn’t making any excuses for his recent tweet about Knowshon Moreno.
The Eagles running back wrote that Moreno “sucked” last week during the Broncos game against the Dallas Cowboys and he told reporters today that he meant what he said.
McCoy said that he wasn’t hacked, he wasn’t sorry, and he still thinks that Moreno sucks.
McCoy said: “I don’t want to talk about the past,” McCoy told reporters. “It is what it is. But what I said is what I meant… No. I don’t regret it.”
The running back said that he isn’t worried about the tweet anymore and that he’s focused on the next game.
McCoy said: “The only thing Coach said to me was stay focused on the next game. That’s what really matters. We’ve got Tampa. It’s a big game for us to win. So that’s what I’m really worried about.”
It’s unclear what Moreno did to tick McCoy off. The Eagles running back made his comment about Moreno in response to a tweet from Skip Bayless.
Bayless complimented Knowshon, writing: “Peyton is doing what Peyton always does. But Knowshon is KILLING the Cowboys.”
McCoy responded: “Moreno sucks.”
Why? What did Moreno do?
The Broncos running back doesn’t seem too bothered about LeSean McCoy’s comments. Moreno responded on Twitter saying that football is a team game and that the Broncos achieved a great team win.
