Bethenny Frankel Blames Ellen DeDeneres For Low Ratings

Bethenny Frankel’s show Bethenny hasn’t been doing too well in the ratings department and there is only one person to blame: Ellen DeGeneres.

Ellen is an executive producer for the show and is one of the reasons why Bethenny was given a year-long contract after a six-show experiment. But Ellen hasn’t been able to secure A-list stars for the show.

Web Pro News Frankel is upset with Ellen and blames her for the show’s ratings.

A source said: “(Frankel) is absolutely peeved that she has been unable to get a big name celebrity to come on. Frankel was told numerous times by DeGeneres before the show premiered that she would absolutely help her in getting all of the big names in show business.”

Ellen has been a big supporter of Frankel but it looks like the talk show host may be trying to cut her losses. DeGeneres thought that she could get A-list stars for the show but apparently Hollywood’s biggest stars aren’t interested in sitting down with the housewife.

A source said: “During Bethenny’s trial run, DeGeneres pulled some strings and got Justin Bieber to come on. DeGeneres’ former booker is now working for Bethenny but he’s been unable to get Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow or Miley Cyrus. The big name celebrities don’t want to go on a talk show hosted by a former Bravo housewife. It’s causing major drama behind the scenes of Frankel’s show, which is struggling in the ratings.”

Ellen is reportedly embarrassed by the show and is now trying to cut her losses. The NY Daily News reports that Ellen has even asked to have her name removed from the credits.

A source said: “When the first-week ratings came out, Ellen’s producers looked and said, ‘It’s so bad,’ [and] they requested it be reprocessed, which is basically a recount… It was that bad.”
