Rebecca Romijn Releasing Her Own Hand Bra For Women
Rebecca Romijn has an answer for the busy woman who just doesn’t have time to put on a bra.
In a new video for Funny or Die, Romijn introduces her own patented “Hand Bra,” poking fun at the cliche modeling shot where a shirtless woman uses her hands as a bra. The video shows Rebecca in various settings — at a busy work meeting and out at a club with friends, even while out jogging — all while holding her breasts in her hands.
She also offers the services to other women, who are much less enthusiastic to have to be topless all the time.
When she’s not making lighthearted videos, Romijn is playing full-time mom to her 4-year-old twin girls. Rebecca said she and husband Jerry O’Connell recently decided against hiring a nanny, and instead take on full parenting duties themselves.
“We’re each other’s assistants. We pick up each other’s slack,” the 40-year-old said in Redbook’s upcoming August issue. “Whoever is less busy helps the busier one: ‘Can you go pick up this for me?’ or ‘Can you book my flight?’ ”
The situation has worked out well, Romijn said, but she can’t resist butting in a bit when it’s her husband’s time to care for the girls.
“It’s hard for me to not make suggestions when I’m not on duty,” she added. “For example, 10 days ago when he was bringing the girls up to Vancouver, I was like, ‘Oh, God, he cannot forget their jackets. I have to remember to tell him to bring rain boots.”
