Justin Bieber Hits Studio In Korea After ‘Heartbreaker’ Skyrockets To #1

Justin Bieber is in South Korea with his globe-trekking Believe tour but found time to hit the studio, while his new single “Heartbreaker” reportedly tops iTunes charts around the world after its “Music Monday” premiere and the launch of the singer’s 10-week release drive.

Currently on the Asia leg of his tour, the 19-year-old is set to play his first show in South Korea at Bangi-dong’s Olympic Park on Thursday (Oct. 10).

Speculation about the possibility of K-Pop Dream Team cameos by native superstars Psy and G-Dragon has sparked following reports of the “Gangnam Style” rapper’s return home.

Arriving in Korea on Tuesday (Oct. 8), Bieber took to Twitter that night to reveal he, his crew, Psy, mutual manager Scooter Braun, and G-Dragon had got together.

The teen singer tweeted, “Late night in Korea with @psy Oppa @IBGDRGN @scooterbraun @ AlfredoFlores @CoreyGamble and the crew. #funtimes.”

At some point during the festivities the group made their way to a recording studio.

Justin wrote, “across the world and still in the studio. always working (sic),” adding, “it is all coming together. #musicmondays #10weeks #BelieveMovie and some more.”

Braun tweeted, “Witnessed some world wide magic in the studio tonight. Love watching history. #eastandwest.”

Joining in the online action, Psy enthused,

Back in September, Bieber touched off rumors he, Psy and G-Dragon could hit the stage together in Korea when he tweeted both artists from Bali, Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Bieber’s confessional single “Heartbreaker” continues to draw interest from media and fans alike.

The Canadian got up close and personal on the RnB slow jam, accompanying the single’s release with a statement admitting the track was about his own relationship break-up. Since then, debate that the song is Bieber’s way of reaching out to actress-singer Selena Gomez has filled headlines.

The pair began dating in 2010 and went public in 2011.

After their first split last November, the couple reunited on and off but reportedly called time on the relationship earlier this year.

In an Instagram message, Justin wrote: “It’s a song for people going through a heartbreak – like I was when I wrote it. It means so much to me to be able to share what I was, and still am going through, with my fans. I’m very proud of this song and I hope it give my fans some insight into my heart – JB.”
