Keanu Reeves has been out of the movie circuit since 2003, when he enjoyed great success with Something’s Gotta Give and The Matrix: Revolutions . He is due to release two new films this year.
Reeves is starring in the Man of Tai Chi and 47 Ronin, which will be released within a few months of each other. Universal just released a new U.K. trailer for 47 Ronin, which sees the half-British, half-Japanese Kai (played by Keanu reeves) lead a group of 47 samurai warriors to avenge the death of their master.
The film ran into all kinds of problems and production was pushed back as a result. The movie was supposed to be released in November of last year and then again February of this year. The budget for the film increased and now stands at a massive $225 million.
The gripping new trailer shows that the upcoming movie will be action packed, as one would expect from Keanu Reeves. Also, due to the rather inflated budget on the movie, no expense has been spared in the area of special effects.
What do you think of the new U.K. 47 Ronin trailer? How does it compare for you to the original U.S. Trailer? And which of the two Keanu Reeves movies are you more excited to see this year 47 Ronin or Man of Tai Chi ? Tell us which one and why in the feed below.
