Charlize Theron And Seth MacFarlane Not Dating, Just Working On Movie Together
Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane are working on a movie together, but their closeness during filming has led some to speculate that the two are now an item.
Theron and MacFarlane have been spotted out, but have avoided paparazzi when they’re together. This led hosts on the VH1 show The Gossip Table to speculate that they may be hiding a relationship.
Others have jumped to that conclusion based on the way the two act together in public.
“They were like so cozy that it’s hard to imagine they’re not hooking up,” one blogger said.
The blog Gossip Cop got to the bottom of the situation, speaking to a source close to the couple who said they are definitely not dating.
Charlize Theron was seen on the red carpet on Friday night, but didn’t address the Seth MacFarlane rumors. The actress appeared at Variety’s 5th Annual Power of Women even in Beverly Hills.
Theron made headlines for another reason. After breaking a vertebrae in her neck while filming Aeon Flux in 2005, Charlize has suffered from ongoing pain and stiffness. This month she finally decided to take action.
“It’s been bothering her a lot lately so she had surgery to correct it and they had to go through her neck,” an insider said.
While the 38-year-old actress is reportedly recovering well, she did show signs of the surgery on the red carpet. Charlize Theron sported a bandage on her neck, which she kept hidden beneath a scarf.
The injury didn’t seem to bother Charlize, who was honored that day for her philanthropic work. Theron gave credit to her mother in her acceptance speech.
“I hope you’re OK with me giving this award to my mom,” she said. “That b*tch was building roads in Africa when no woman was doing that. I thank you, Mom, for teaching me by your actions how to be a strong woman, and for turning me into a p—y every time I talk to you.”
The injury isn’t stopping Charlize Theron from accepting awards, and it’s not stopping her from working either. She’s set to appear in Dark Places, an adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s novel about the Satanic cult hysteria of the 1980s.
