Jennifer Aniston Wedding Update: All Is Quiet

Celeb addicts will have to keep on waiting for news on Jennifer Aniston’s upcoming wedding to fiance Justin Theroux, because the well has run dry.

So far we have the who—Jen and Justin; the what—a wedding, duh; And the where—the couple’s Bel Air home. But what’s driving everyone crazy is the unknown when!

“We just want to do it when it’s perfect, and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job,” she told the Associated Press .

Aniston has been an A-Lister for years, so when news of the former Friends star’s engagement to Theroux came out last year, fans started frothing at the mouth. But the couple doesn’t seem to be in any hurry, to the madness of gossip hounds everywhere. News has been slow to trickle out but we think we know a few key pieces of information.

The Wedding Party: Reports have it that Jen’s half-sib Alex “A.J.” Aniston will serve as Justin’s best man. “Free-spirited” would be about the kindest description you’d find of AJ on the Web, with many sites referring to him as a “nomad,” “biker,” “punk” or any combination of the three. A UPI report suggests that Aniston feels family should be first at her wedding.

“Justin feels that having A.J. act as his best man at the wedding will give him an anchor in the family,” a family insider insider said. “There’s no doubt that AJ is quirky, but he’s got a good heart and Jen does love him.”

“A.J. is exactly the kind of person that security would throw out of Jen’s wedding. Instead he’ll be front and centre at the ceremony,” the source said, as reported by TVNZ .

When asked about Jen and the rumor at the Burning Man festival, A.J. was combative but also mum on the subject.

“It’s been happening since middle school. It’s been a pain in my ass for years. No comment,” he said to the Daily Mail .

Sounds like a great idea, eh?

The Scale: Low-key is the order of the day, according to inside sources. The ceremony will be a small affair at the couple’s Bel Air mansion. Why?

“Jen hated her wedding to Brad Pitt. It was too big and incredibly stressful,” the insider says .

“This time she wants a small family affair and she wants to go the extra mile to let her father see that she is still happy at last. And she knows that including his son would make him happiest.”

With Brad’s engagement to Angelina Jolie and that whole scandal, it makes sense that Jennifer Aniston would want to distance herself from a grand affair.

The Dress: Reports have it as a Vivienne Westwood custom job.

“Jennifer has chosen British designer Vivienne Westwood to create her gown,” a source told Britain’s Star Magazine. “She’s a big fan of her romantic, figure-flattering styles and recently wore a blue, corseted Westwood dress at the Toronto Film Festival.”

“Her off-white wedding gown also features a corset bodice, which highlights Jen’s figure while flattening that bit of ‘tummy bulge’ she recently admitted to, when she denied rumours she was expecting a baby,” the source added .

“Choosing a UK rather than a US designer is also a nod to her fiancé’s British family connections.”

Now, Jennifer, if you could just get back to us with a date, we will happily pencil you in for more wedding coverage.
