Hugh Jackman Confronts Reporter He Used To Teach [Video]
Hugh Jackman had a bizarre run-in on the the red carpet of the Zurich Film Festival when he came face to face with a reporter that he taught when he was a teacher, years before he was famous.
Jackman was at the event to collect a Golden Icon award for his contribution to theatre and cinema, when he stumbled upon Rollo Ross. Ross and Jackman became acquainted at Uppingham School in Rutland, England, where the X-Men star taught as a P.E. teaching assistant for a year.
The actor proved how much of a cinematic sweetheart he is by not only recognising Rollo, but by remembering details of their time together in school.
Rollo attempted to keep the interview serious, asking Jackman what made him angry. However, the action star couldn’t help turn it back on to his former student, stating, “Students who don’t really listen, the kind of students who don’t bring their kit and the kind of students who don’t jump in the pool when I tell them to jump in. That’s what makes me angry, Rollo!”
At the start of their discussion, Jackman brought Rollo in front of the camera, and brought his viewers up to date with their relationship.
Jackman even asked him if he’d set Rollo up for life with his teaching, before noticing that he had become embarrassed and shouting out, “You’ve gone a nice shade of red there, Rollo.”
Earlier today, Jackman discussed how he prepares himself for a sexy night with his wife of 17 years. This even involves putting on a sharp suit, with Jackman telling Cosmopolitan, “So if I want it to be a great night out, I’ll wear a suit, especially Tom Ford, and I’ll start talking about stocks and bonds. Then I know I’m going to get lucky (Just kidding!)”
Is there a more likeable man in Hollywood than Hugh Jackman?
