Jennifer Lawrence To Weight Critics ‘You Can Go F*** Yourself’
Jennifer Lawrence is responding to that weight critic in the clearest possible way telling them to “go f*** yourself”.
But it wasn’t always like that for The Hunger Games star who a few years ago got called out by an industry insider telling her she was a bit on the heavier side and needed to shed some pound in order to be successful.
“I was young. It was just the kind of s**t that actresses have to go through,” the star told Harper’s Bazaar in a recent interview. “Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn’t lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet.”
Lawrence says that even after all her success and winning an Oscar for Silver Linnings Playbook, the comment still hurts her.
“‘You really still care about that?’ Yeah. I was a little girl. I was hurt. It doesn’t matter what accolades you get.”
Jennifer Lawrence is now fighting back telling the weight critics exactly what do and her incredibly successful career has helped tremendously to give her the confidence to speak up.
“I know it’ll never happen to me again. If anybody even tries to whisper the word ‘diet’, I’m like, ‘You can go f**k yourself’.”
We can almost hear everyone cheering for her. Lawrence is one of the most well-liked celebrities in Hollywood because of not only her obvious talent, but her down-to-earth personality, which gets her praise not only from fans, but co-stars as well.
There was outcry on social media when reports surfaced that someone was calling Jennifer fat.
