Rachael Leigh Cook Baby: Husband Daniel Gillies Pens Poem For Little Girl

Rachael Leigh Cook and her husband Daniel Gillies welcomed a baby girl into the world this weekend.

The actress hasn’t commented on the news herself but Gillies has already written a short poem for his new daughter.

Gillies took to Twitter this weekend to share a few words about his little girl. The actor writes:

it’s a girl.
the tiny new empress of my everything.
she’s immaculate.
we’re delirious.

Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies have been married since 2004 but this is the couple’s first child together. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t know what they’re doing. Gillies has obviously put a lot of thought into raising a child as evidence by his Twitter account.

For instance, Gillies will make sure that his daughter knows the difference between “there” and “their.”

The actor writes: “It’s every parent’s nightmare to see a child in pain or to sire an ungodly moron that cannot accurately discriminate between their and there.”
