Rachael Leigh Cook Welcomes Baby Girl With Daniel Gillies
Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies welcomed a baby girl over the weekend.
The She’s All That actress hasn’t confirmed the news yet but her husband shared a little poem about his baby girl on Twitter last night.
Gillies, who stars in The Vampire Diaries, writes on Twitter:
“it’s a girl. the tiny new empress of my everything. she’s immaculate. we’re delirious.”
LA Times reports that Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies were married on August 14, 2004. This is their first child together.
The two actors haven’t released a name yet but Gillies did give a hint earlier this year.
Gillies said: “A lot of people are asking whether I’d prefer a boy or a girl. In truth, it doesn’t matter to me — I just can’t wait to meet little Keanu Robocop.”
Let’s hope he’s joking….
Are you happy for Cook and Gillies? The two actors will soon be busy with parenting duties but it doesn’t look like they’ll be taking a career break.
Rachael Leigh Cook is currently working on her new show, Perception, and Gillies is now starring in a The Vampire Diaries spin-off called The Originals.
