Amanda Bynes Court Date Still Uncertain As She Moves To Rehab

Amanda Bynes’ court date is still in question as the troubled child star moves from the hospital to rehab. Apparently diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, Amanda Bynes was deemed unfit for her previous court date, as previously reported by The Inquisitr. However, the sudden move from the hospital to rehab was certainly unexpected, as it wasn’t made sure when she would be released when the court date was postponed to December 5.

It’s still uncertain if the court date may change, as Amanda Bynes’ treatment has been slow after her departure from relatively incoherent ramblings on Twitter. Her behavior at her previous apartment (burning her clothes in a parking lot, throwing a bong out of the window from the 36th floor) led to speculation and the inevitable professional conclusion that Amanda Bynes was indeed becoming increasingly mentally unstable.

When Amanda Bynes left the UCLA mental hospital earlier than expected, it could have been a sign that she’s doing better. However, the transfer to the Malibu Rehab facility sounds a lot like a certain other celebrity who as far as we know has turned her life around.

Yes, we’re talking about Lindsay Lohan, now a TV talk show host.

Amanda Bynes has shown more cooperation than Lindsay Lohan, however, not abandoning her treatment to go partying repeatedly. If anything, the troubled star is paranoid of leaving her home because she wants the paparazzi to leave her alone as she is now in a desperate state over the rehab facility’s lack of medication she might need.

We can imagine she’s a tad embarrassed after that whole Twitter episode and we don’t blame her. The paparazzi can get intrusive, and in her mental state, she really doesn’t need that.

Amanda Bynes’ court date for the DUI charges of driving into a police car might not be affected, but she might eventually just want it over with if she feels well enough.

In the end, it’s really up to Amanda Bynes’ lawyer Gerald Shargel when she is ready to face the charges, as he was promised that the bench warrant would be placed on hold as she gets treated.

Amanda Bynes’ court date could be up in the air if the Judge changes her mind over this recent move from the hospital to rehab.
