Katy Perry Thinks John Mayer Should ‘Give His Mind To Science’
Katy Perry loves John Mayer’s brain so much that she thinks his mind would probably benefit science.
Although the musicians are still trying to hammer out their relationship, that doesn’t mean the “Roar” singer isn’t entirely smitten with her boyfriend. Not only does she think the guy is incredibly good-looking, she also believes he’s a genius.
During a recent interview with the folks at Billboard magazine, Katy Perry explained why she thinks scientists should spend a lot of time studying and researching John Mayer’s brain.
“He literally is a genius, as is evident from his songwriting. I always tell him, ‘Darling, you know I’m going to have to give your mind to science after you’ve passed, because we’re going to have to understand how all these sparks work,'” she recently told the outlet.
According to the Daily Mail, John Mayer can complete word puzzles in an impressive amount of time. Katy Perry said that her boyfriend is also blessed with an abundance of determination. In other words, she really thinks that the singer is the bee’s knees.
“We’ll be in bed, and he’ll be doing the crossword puzzle. Every night, he tries to finish it in under 10 minutes. When he puts his mind to something, he really gets it done very well. I always ask for his help,” she explained to the magazine.
Katy Perry also told Billboard that Barbara Walters was really irritated when the singer showed up late for an interview back in 2011. Although Perry tried her best to show up for the meeting on time, she was ultimately forced to make the renowned journalist wait.
The singer explained:
“I’d prepped everyone that I was running late, but Barbara showed up at the original time anyway. When I got there, I apologized immediately, but then she said to me, ‘You know, I’ve only ever waited for one other person this long, and you know who that person was? Judy Garland. You know how she turned out, right?’ I was like, ‘Oh, snap! Yes, b****!'”
Katy Perry’s Prism hits stores on October 22.
