‘Dumb And Dumber To’: Returning Cast May Reveal Plot

Dumb and Dumber To‘s returning cast might just reveal some of the plot.

The Farrelly brothers, as well as the actors seen in their first pic from the set, have announced another member of the original film returning, which opens up possibilities for what Dumb and Dumber To may hold for audiences upon release. Remember when Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) came home and found their parakeet dead? Lloyd duct-taped its head back on and sold it to a blind kid for traveling money.

Apparently the blind kid is returning for Dumb and Dumber To, and if Jeff Daniel’s earlier revelation on The Inquisitr is any indication, the film is said to be even better than the original.

That’s a bold statement, considering that Dumb and Dumber is considered one of the funniest comedies of all time. To top that, the Farrelly brothers are going to need to be at the top of their game.

Anyway, the inclusion of Billy, the blind kid (Brady Bluhm) could mean that Dumb and Dumber To will be a revenge plot that the two stars will foil over and over through sheer stupidity, much like the first film. Dumb and Dumber To‘s returning cast also includes Laurie Holden as the main villain, meaning that she may just be the boy’s sister and caretaker as the boy goes out of his way to deny Harry and Lloyd what they want from him.

According to the IMDb, the two idiots are on a mission 20 years after the events of the first film to find one of the “long lost children” (who may be Billy or one of his childhood friends) in order to get a new kidney.

Adele Pichlow (Laurie Holden) could be Billy‘s sister, given that he’s now in his 30s, and doing everything she can to avenge him as he recalls the trauma of being sold a dead bird as a boy.
