Kaley Cuoco is engaged to tennis star Ryan Sweeting after just three months of dating.
A source told Us Weekly , “It’s only three months, but she knows Ryan is the one. When you know, you know.”
Sweeting proposed on September 25, just days after the couple made their red carpet debut during the Emmys . After the proposal, Cuoco tweeted, “Flying high, I could literally touch the sky with you….” She also posted a picture with her mother Ashley and sister Briana with the caption, “A sweet celebration w my sweet soul sisters.”
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Cuoco and Sweeting met on a blind date set up by tennis doubles player Mike Bryan.
“Ryan flew to L.A. for the date and hasn’t left since,” a source said. “They do everything together — run errands, lounge at the pool. They have been inseparable.”
The couple began dating shortly after Cuoco broke up with Man of Steel star Henry Cavill. The two split amicably and are still friends. Cuoco’s friends said she was overwhelmed with the constant attention she received while dating the 30-year-old, and that she couldn’t handle that much media scrutiny.
“She just got overwhelmed with the very public Superman relationship. She’s not used to that much attention and chaos in her life,” a source said.
This will be the first marriage for both Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting. The 27-year-old Big Bang Theory star previously dated co-star Johnny Galecki for two years, but the two kept the relationship secret.
Cuoco, Galecki, and Jim Parsons recently asked for salary raises. The trio currently makes $350,000 per episode, and have asked for $500,000 per episode ahead of the show’s seventh season premiere. The stars believe they should be rewarded for the show’s rise in popularity, as it continues to draw around 20 million viewers per episode.
The Big Bang Theory season seven premieres tonight at 8 pm on CBS.
Congratulations to Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting on their engagement.
