‘Dumb And Dumber’ Sequel Will Top The Original, Says Jeff Daniels
Do you remember the infamous “toilet scene” from the 1994 comedy Dumb and Dumber? Jeff Daniels says the sequel features a sequence that will put that sequence to shame.
There is presently a lot of buzz surrounding the long-awaited sequel to Daniels and Jim Carrey’s box office hit. In order to please fans of the original, directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly are going to have to take things a bit farther than they did the first time around.
Jeff Daniels recently shared some details about the Dumb and Dumber with the folks at Hollywood Life. When the publication asked the Newsroom star about the scariest part of the follow-up, he said fans should prepare themselves for something truly and horrifically outrageous.
“The scariest thing? There are some things that’s we’re going to do in Dumb and Dumber 2 that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame. Pales in comparison and I can’t divulge what, but just that they’ve topped it,” he explained.
The Inquisitr previously reported that production on Dumb and Dumber To is currently underway. To prove that filming on the sequel was actually happening, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels recently posed for some behind-the-scenes shots.
One shot shows the actors reading a copy of the children’s book How Roland Rolls, a story penned by star Jim Carrey.
