Lamar Odom’s Father Wants Him To Divorce ‘Controlling’ Khloe Kardashian

Lamar Odom’s father thinks his son is “better off without” Khloe Kardashian and wants him to file for divorce.

The former Lakers player has made headlines lately for his alleged drug use, as well as accusations that he has cheated on his wife of four years. Odom’s father blamed the Kardashians for spreading the rumors.

“They brought him down. He would be better off without them. I think the best thing for him would be to have a clean break and divorce Khloe,” Joe Odom told Heat magazine.“She’s been talking trash about my son, saying he’s on drugs and stuff like that. I don’t think she cares about Lamar, she just cares about their image and money.”

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian married on September 27, 2009, one month after meeting at a party for Odom’s former teammate Metta World Peace. The wedding was featured on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. On December 29, 2010, E! announced the spinoff Khloe & Lamar, which premiered April 10, 2011.

“I wish he had never got married to Khloe. She’s controlling. Those Kardashian women all are,” Joe Odom said. “In public she’s nice, but if you see her personally you see the real person. The mother’s like that, too.”

Odom was also angry with a comment Kim Kardashian made about his son’s alleged drug use.

“I heard Kim said they don’t have crackheads in their family,” he said. “That p***ed me off. Look at where she came from. We don’t want porno stars in our family.”

If recent reports are to be believed, Joe Odom may get his wish. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Kris Jenner is also urging Khloe Kardashian to file for divorce. The Kardashian family matriarch set up a two-hour meeting and had multiple phone conversations with divorce attorney Laura Wasser. The report also said that the Kardashians leaked the unflattering stories about Lamar Odom and that Jenner “wants him out of the family.”

Khloe Kardashian recently dropped the “Odom” from her name on Instagram, further fueling divorce rumors.
