Kenzie Dalton And Chad Michael Murray’s Engagement Has Ended

Kenzie Dalton and Chad Michael Murray are engaged no longer. The Hollywood couple have called off their seven-year engagement for reasons unknown.

The 32-year-old actor’s rep confirms the engagements end to Us Weekly. The rep issued the following statement:

“Chad Michael Murray and Kenzie Dalton quietly parted ways earlier in the year.”

The notice which was issued on Friday also included the following request, “Please respect their privacy at this time.”

Dalton, 25, met Michael Murray on the set of One Tree Hill. Murray starred on the show as Lucas Scott, Dalton was playing a cheerleader extra.

The couple announced their engagement in 2006, Dalton at the time was a high school senior.

Chad Michael Murray seemed to have a thing for One Tree Hill girls, having been previously married to costar Sophia Bush who portrayed Brooke Davis on the hit series. Bush and Michael Murray wed in April 2005. Bush filed for an annulment five months after the marriage. The marriage ended in divorce.

The decision to call off the engagement seems rather sudden. During an interview in July 2012 Murray said he couldn’t be anymore in love with Dalton. According to Michael Murray:

“She is a little stunner. She is a sweetheart. She is my best friend and we have been together a long time.”

At this time we don’t know exactly why the couple called off their very long engagement. What might be most amazing is that the couple called off the engagement “earlier in the year” and managed to keep it quite until now.
